About Me
I'm a creative nonfiction writer and memoir instructor who believes every life holds stories worth telling. Through writing, teaching, and ghostwriting, I help people discover the meaning within their lived experiences and transform them into compelling narratives.
As a Venezuelan writer living in Canada, much of my work explores immigration, identity, belonging, and the ways personal stories connect us across cultures and generations.
My Literary Journey
2016
A New Beginning:
Moved to Canada from Venezuela, beginning a new chapter that would later shape much of my writing on immigration, identity, and belonging.
2024
Finding My Voice:
Began publishing personal essays in The Writing Cooperative, The Memoirist, and The Narrative Arc, developing a distinctive voice in creative nonfiction.
2025
A Breakthrough Year:
Published two personal essays in CBC First Person and was longlisted for the 2025 Tadpole Press 100-Word Writing Contest. These milestones marked an exciting first year of pitching to national publications.
Present
The Next Chapter:
Currently developing memoir workshops while working on my first collection of personal essays exploring immigration, identity, belonging, and the experience of building a life between two countries.
