About the event
Over 4 weeks (1.5 hours per week), participants will explore the many ways creative writing can reach readers within the Canadian and Quebec- literary landscape. They will learn about literary magazines, writing contests, public readings, writers' residencies, grants, writing communities, self-publishing options and best practices for preparing and submitting manuscripts.
The workshop also encourages participants to develop a sustainable writing practice by exploring ways to stay motivated, connect with other writers, and continue growing beyond the classroom, whether writing for personal fulfillment, community engagement, or publication.
